Russia’s car market fails to pull out of fatal tailspin - Avtovaz on life-support

Russia’s slump-struck car market remains frost gripped. Directly following September’s 53.9% sales plunge, marking the 14th successive dive in a row, even seasoned autoindustry forecasters told AID that the likely timing for a genuine and lasting turnaround is "literally, anybody’s guess". The sole crumb of comfort, it seems, is that Russia’s long battered Avtovaz, pushing for assistance, could be tossed a clearly desperately needed lifeline by Russia’s deeply concerned government.
