Anyone seeking proof that upwardly moving Volkswagen Group has on the one
hand transformed itself into one of the market’s most powerful predators,
and on the other is near the top of its game, need only look at its
breakneck pace of advance in last year’s ebbing European new car market.
Last year’s long list of victories speak for themselves.
Seemingly dropping for good its earlier placid facade, Volkswagen Group,
and the VW marque no less, appears to have launched an all-out vehicle
sales blitz.
