The underlying truck market deterioration, expectedly mirrored in Volvo’s most recent truck deliveries, is illustrated only too tellingly by a whopping 27 per cent drop in Volvo’s April West European truck deliveries.

That compares to a no less revealing drop of 19 per cent during the opening four months of this year.

Expressed in hard numbers, during the four months to April this year Volvo’s West European truck shipments dropped 19 per cent to 21,030 units from 26,049 during the same period last year...more
