By any measure, some of the most outstanding and seemingly unwavering inroads were made by Korean carmaker Hyundai-Kia.

Almost regardless of the market’s steadily deteriorating conditions, Hyundai-Kia continued to press ahead with its determined quest for the largest possible slice of the market.
