Ampera takes Europe’s electric car sales
crown at half-time |
![]() Halfway through the year, Ampera heads the field with some 2,858 first time registration, rising to close on 3,100 units when also including the same DNA Chevrolet Volt, of which some 200 were also registered in the region during the same period. Half way through the current year, the runner-up slot in West Europe’s still dormant electric car scene went to Nissan’s LEAF, followed in turn by Bollore’s Bluecar French rental special in third position, according to AID compiled figures
