Scrappage incentive helped boost Spain’s car sales to a level not seen for years, but in spite of 10 successive good gains in a row, at this year’s halfway stage sales still trail pre-crisis 2007 levels by almost a half

A new mood of optimism has gripped Spain’s long-suffering car dealers following news that one of Europe’s previously hardest-struck car markets has grown by a strong 23.9 per cent in June after rising strongly for nine successive months in a row.
