![]() West European sales of SUV-Crossovers rose almost 22 per cent last year to a new historic high of 2.4 million units, maintaining their streak as the fastest growing segment in Europe’s recovering new car market. AID’s exclusively compiled figures reveal that SUV-Crossovers have tightened their strengthening grip on the European market by a substantial 2.8 percentage points, to the point where almost one in five of all cars sold in Western Europe is now a trendy Crossover. Last year’s bullish expansion was fuelled principally by a host of new sector entries. 19.9%
