Driving on Germany’s smooth, fast flowing and still partly unrestricted autobahn network its luxury chariots are principally designed to cruise on, for Mercedes there is generally only one speed: fast. Over this past year the revered German prestige car brand has kept is right foot pressed hard on the throttle.
Conducting its global car sales business in just such manner, in the 11-months to November this year the brand with the three-pointed star already sold more Mercedes-badged cars than during the whole of last year.
