industry is not blessed with gravity defying
qualities have emerged from latest figures
showing that February’s car production and
exports lurched into reverse After a year of better than earlier expected car production and exports, with both setting new all-time records, Germany’s autoindustry came in for a rude awakening at the beginning of this year as consumers in Europe’s austerity struck markets shunned all earlier thoughts of buying a new car. The ill-effects of slowing demand in Europe, accompanied by cooling demand in China’s previously sizzling car market, have made their inevitable mark on Germany’s export driven car production
