Despite an outwardly confidence inspiring 9.1 per cent rise in Russia’s December car sales, during the whole of last year Russia’s new car sales fell 5.1 per cent to 2.6 million units, according to AID compiled car sales figures for last year. AEBRUS, Russia’s autoindustry federation, commenting at the publication of better December car sales, says there is little prospect of an upturn in the current year. For the whole of 2014 it is projecting largely unchanged Light-Vehicle sales -5.1%
