![]() It’s been a long time coming, but after navigating some of the most stormy and treacherous seas for the past half-dozen years, finally the signs are that West Europe’s badly battered car market is slowly turning towards notably calmer waters. Registrations of new cars in Western Europe rose by 4.2 per cent to 0.97m in October as recovery growth spread to the vast majority of markets. Of the 18 West European markets, only Italy, Belgium and Greece did not record an October increase. +4.2%
