The biggest test of the electric car industry’s ability to regain some of the strong earlier following of new car buyers has begun to unfold at dealerships across Norway
This January, illustrating the closely watched popularity contests, PHEVs regained the upper hand by outselling
BEVs.
Drawing renewed attention to the regained thrust of the PHEV sector, the 2,609 sold in Norway this January was double the 1,279 sold only the month before.
By contrast, this January’s BEV sales eased back slightly to 2,289 units from the 2,317 sold in the previous month.
Yet again, industry analysts have been left wondering.
